Mark enjoyed woodworking, bicycling, and working with electronics. He had a good sense of humor and was known for his kindness and big heart. Mark loved the Lord, serving as an active member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, and he loved his family deeply.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, his father James Teegarden (Gail), mother Jeanne Dunlap, children Adam Teegarden, Paige Covey, and Cameron Teegarden (Ciara Syester); siblings Daniel Teegarden (Christina), Susan Snow (Michael), and Christopher Teegarden; stepsister Bunny (Dan) Stephens, Debbie (Larry) Leverenz, and Kathy (Andy) York; and nieces and nephews, Mary, Mathew, Megan, Katlin, and Zach. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Bill Dunlap.
The visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm at DeBaun Funeral Home. Promptly following the visitation, the family wishes to invite those who are able to a dinner at the Sugar Creek Baptist Church in West Terre Haute. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 10 am at the Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Lift Fund. Online condolences can be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.

Mark was a dear friend beginning in my college years, meeting at S.C.A.M.P.S.
A Christian Campus Ministry. So many memories of Mark, his wife Becky and brother Chris.
My heart goes out to his family on the loss of Mark. A good Christian man who has found his reward in Heaven.
His contagious smile and positive attitude will be greatly missed by all.

I knew Mark as a childhood friend, at Thornton Elementary School, and many years later became re-acquainted through Christian Student Fellowship (CSF at Indiana State, formerly SCAMPS) and also via lunches his church provided free to the public in West Terre Haute. Mark had a pleasant, welcoming personality and was a true Christian.
I'm very saddened to learn of his passing, especially at such a young age. I offer sincere prayers and condolences to his family. God Bless.
