Born on June 30, 1980 In Walnut Creek, California, he was the cherished son of Josephine (Josie) and David. Mark grew up in Citrus Heights, California and attended Holy Family Catholic School and Woodcreek High School. He had many friends during his school years and beyond, and participated in Pony League baseball, starting at the age of six years old. He was also a cub scout in his younger years and continued to play baseball through his senior year for Varsity at Woodcreek. He also played basketball for Holy Family School and Woodcreek. He had a passion for sports, and his favorite teams were the SF Giants, the Raiders, and the Sacramento Kings. He loved watching golf, car racing, and soccer.
Mark's early departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his devoted mother Josie, father David, two sisters, Tina and Jennifer, nieces Katelyn, Vivianna, and Carina, stepfather Michael, his "son" and companion dog, Brody, Aunt Carol, Uncle Dick, all his cousins, and the many friends who enjoyed his humor, devotion, love, and caring self. Mark's memory will forever be a beacon of love and inspiration. Rest in peace dear Mark – you will always be deeply missed.
