Mark Thomas Obituary
Mr. Mark Anthony Thomas, 67, passed away on Sunday November 19, 2023, at his home in Walkertown. He was born on October 28, 1956, in Forsyth County to the late Kenneth Thomas and Shirley Jones Thomas. Mark retired from the Forsyth County School System after 10 years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding his tractor and working on small engines. Mark also loved animals, especially his two dogs: Myrtle and Jack. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vicky Crews Thomas, three children; Robert Thomas, Kevin Thomas, and Sherry Leonard (Tobin), two sisters; Pattie Flinchum (Joe), and Margaret Church, three grandchildren; Tyler, Jacob, and Kylie, two great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday November 25, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Herbert Mabe officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
