A proud veteran, Mark served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1966. Following his service, he became a licensed funeral director and mortician, dedicating his life to helping others through his work. In 1969, he founded Tocchetti Funeral Home, which he owned and operated with compassion and integrity until his retirement in 2008. He also served his community as a member of the Stafford Fire Department No. 1, Stafford Ambulance, and the Italian Benefit Society.
After his many years of service, Mark enjoyed spending his winters in Florida, where his favorite pastime was golfing. In 2015, he made Port St. Lucie his permanent home, embracing the sunshine and slow pace of life.
Mark was a loving and caring father, who enjoyed time with his family and friends. He is survived by his three children, Carmen Eaton of Stafford Springs, CT, Marco Tocchetti of Reno, NV, and Gina Tocchetti of Eastford, CT. He was also the proud grandfather of Lindsey, Sawyer and Casey. Mark will be remembered by all who knew him.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., with a memorial service beginning at 12:30 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Following the service, a gathering will be held at the Mineral Springs Campground, 135 Leonard Rd., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stafford Fire Department No. 1, P.O. Box 147A, Staffordville, CT 06077 or to Stafford Ambulance Association, 27 Willington Ave., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
