Mark Timothy Topping

Mark Timothy Topping, 62, of Julian, WV, departed this life on February 9, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.
He was born August 26, 1960 in Ashland, Kentucky, the son of the late James and Sarah Topping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kyle & Anna Topping, and William & Beulah Moore, one son, William Lewis "Wease" Topping, one sister, Gaynel Duran, one brother, Dale Topping, brother-in-law, Barry Browning and his father and mother-in-law, Lewis & Nadine Browning.
Mark loved owning and working his own business for 20 years. He also loved telling stories, raising his 3 boys and being a grandfather. Mark loved life.
Those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Jennifer Butler; the mother of his children, Sherry Topping; three sons, Timothy James (Chelsey) Topping, Nicholas Mark Topping; stepchildren, Dakota Bowman and Emilie Sexton; one special daughter in law, Stacey Topping; one sister, Janet Windes Davis; one brother, Lyle Topping; one brother-in-law, Randy Browning and Sheila Gail Good; six grandchildren, Sawyer Lewis Topping, Violet Elise Topping, Audrey Jane Topping, Kevin Cook, Charles Elkins and Kiaro Orr.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, February 13, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Gary Topping officiating. Burial will follow at the Manns Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Topping, Nicholas Topping, Paul Topping, and Thomas Rockne Stevens III.
Honorary pallbearer will be Lyle Topping.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with arrangements.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
