Mark Valentine Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home on Dec. 31, 2025.
Mark Steven Valentine of Denison, TX passed away on December 29, 2025 at the age of 68. He was born on July 25, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Martha Valentine.

Mark was an intelligent man with a lifelong curiosity and strong work ethic. Early in his career, he worked for Texas Instruments, but he spent the majority of his life doing what he loved most; building and remodeling. He took great pride in his craftsmanship and the work of his hands. He paid a lot of attention to detail. Mark returned to school later in life to pursue his HVAC certification.

Outside of work, Mark enjoyed skiing, fishing, hunting, researching and discussing stock, spending time in his man cave and hanging out with family. He never met a stranger, loved working with his hands, and had a true gift with numbers-this is how we'll always remember him.

He is survived by his children, Michelle Valentine and husband Brandon Watson of Denison, Texas, and Taylor Dancer and husband Kyle of Sherman, Texas; and his 6 grandchildren, Braylen, Rhylan, Paxton, Emersyn, AnnaBelle, and Cason.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Valentine.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard Street, Denison, Texas 75020. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Braylen, Rhylan, Paxton and Brandon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home to help defray the funeral expenses.

Mark and I kind of lost track of each other over the past few years. We were good buddies growing up in Corpus Christi, TX. We met in elementary school and lived just one street over from each other. We remained close friends all through high school. Ah, what fun and crazy times we had! We were almost unbeatable as a Foosball team.
A mutual friend, Hank Turner reached out to me to let me know if Mark's passing. Great memories always.....
