Mark A. Verdone, 40, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2024.
Born in Abington, PA, to Suzanne (nee Beri) Verdone-Palazzo and the late Mark J. Verdone. Mark was a longtime resident of Mount Laurel prior to moving to Philadelphia 2 years ago. He was a proud member of Carpenter's Local 158 for 16 years, where he made many friends and memories.
A funny, yet private and quiet guy, Mark was able to make a bad day, a better one. Always with a big smile on his face, he had an incredible ability to cheer someone up. He was characterized by many as an amazing friend. Mark had a knack for making things look easy... he was an artist at heart and loved to draw. Mark also enjoyed good food, cooking, country music, and fast cars. He was an avid Philadelphia sports team fan and loved watching games with friends and neighbors.
To know Mark was to love him... and he will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Beloved son of Suzanne M. (nee Beri) Verdone-Palazzo and the late Mark J. Verdone; loving father of Parker Rich; devoted brother of Aimee (Daniel) Hummel, Ryan Palazzo and Brad Palazzo; cherished uncle of Aidan and Nolan Hummel. Mark is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Mark's family on Saturday, January 11, 2025, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals where Mark's Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 PM.
