Mark Allen Vogt, 64, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on May 21, 2025.
Mark was born in San Angelo and, as the son of a military family, spent his early years traveling. But San Angelo was always home, and it's where he chose to build his life.
A devoted father, Mark deeply loved his sons and extended that same love to his daughter-in-law, treating her as his own. He was happiest with a fishing rod in hand or working on one of his many projects-always busy, always helpful. He brought a quiet strength and steady presence to those around him.
Mark never met a stranger. It seemed like no matter where he went, he always ran into someone he knew-whether it was at the store, out fishing, or even when traveling out of town. He had a way of connecting with people that made everyone feel like an old friend.
He is survived by his sons, Aaron Vogt and Michael Vogt; his daughter-in-law, Erica Vogt; and his brother, Gary Vogt.
Memorial service will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mark will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic, his sense of humor, and the countless friendships he formed along the way.
