Mark Anthony Wallace, age 48, of Shawboro, NC, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Born in Omaha, NE, on May 11, 1977, to Theresa Kreifels Baxter (Chuck) and Roger Wallace (Jackie), he was the husband of Nancy Salvador Wallace.

Mark honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a proud native of Nebraska and was deeply passionate about Cornhusker football. He took great joy in cheering for his favorite team. Mark had a love for the simple pleasures in life, including playing cornhole, enjoying the sounds of country music, and barbequing on the grill.

In addition to his wife, parents, and step-parents, he is survived by his son, Anthony Wallace (Allyson) of Newport News, VA; daughters, Givanna Ramos and Isabel Ramos, both of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Shelly Fitzgerald (Tim Brazzle) of Raymore, MO; brother, Michael Wallace (Bernadette) of Omaha, NE; and granddaughter, Naomi Wallace. He is also survived by a host of loving relatives, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other dear friends who will cherish his memory.

His warmth, spirited nature, and devotion to those he loved will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held in Nebraska at a later date.
