Mark Aaron Watkins (39), of Fort Lauderdale, FL, went unexpectedly to be with his Lord and Savior while battling a chronic illness. Mark will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Alanna Watkins (12), of Fort Myers, FL; his mother, Judith Sheryl (née Brisson) Marconi, of Melbourne, FL; his brother, Matthew Watkins, of Wixom, MI; and his half-sister, LaDonna Lynn (née Watkins) Olsen, of Brooksville, FL. He is also survived by his nieces, Tiffany (née Chubeck) and James Lane of Fort Myers, FL, Kassie Romine of Spring Hill, FL, and a nephew, Jason Romine of Spring Hill, FL. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive him.
Mark has joined his father, Harold Dean Watkins, of Fort Myers, FL, and his grandparents, as well as his two dogs, who met him at the Pearly Gates. Mark was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL. He always had a passion for music, creative expression, science, and the Bible. He loved the outdoors, four-wheeling, dirt biking, car races, skeet shooting, karate, hockey, 4-H, and lots of animals. Mark's light, warmth, and passion will be greatly missed. His daughter, his pets, and the Bible brought him the most joy.
A celebration of life will take place on a later date at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Dr., Rockledge, FL 32955.
