Mark D. Weaver, 68 of Killeen, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at 9 am Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Trimmier, 6405 Chaparral, Killeen, Texas.

Mark was born in Fairmont, WV to Dorsey and Velma Weaver on May 3, 1955. He married Sharon L. Weaver on June 15, 1974. He retired from the US Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Trimmier. He was most happy when surrounded by family and very proud of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mark loved leading the church choir, spending time with family, smoking cigars, drinking coffee, telling jokes, traveling, and playing Santa.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Dorsey and Velma Weaver; and brother, Alan Weaver.

Mark is survived by his son, Spike Weaver and spouse, Kacie; daughters, Misty West and spouse, Chad, and Jennifer Tack and spouse, John; 5 grandchildren, Dutton, Emily, Tomara, Mark, and Jayce; 7 great grandchildren, Carter, Camdyn, Red, Amalina, Taylor, Adaline, and Evelyn; sister, Cheryl Maxwell and spouse, John; and many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Monday, February 12, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
