Mark Dakota Webster, 37, of Phenix City, AL died at his home on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 4:00 pm (EST) in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Dakota was born November 21, 1987, in Columbus, GA, son of Victor Mark Webster and Misty Mackey. He was a framer by trade working for his uncles, Stuart Mackey at P&W Heating and Cooling, and Charlie Webster at A-Team Contractors. Dakota really enjoyed his work and tried to excel in any job assigned to him. In his spare time, he loved to fish. This was a time to relax and unwind. Dakota was also an avid animal lover. He would go out of his way to help a stray dog or cat or even in his last days, a baby squirrel. He read his Bible every morning and had a relationship with the Lord.
We will remember Dakota as a man who loved his family and was quick to help when the need arose. He has left a legacy of working hard and keeping faith and family first. He loved his daughter, Madison, and he was very proud of the remarkable young woman she has become. Dakota was taken from us far sooner than anyone expected, however he will live on in our hearts forever.
Dakota was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joel David Webster, Sr. and Cynthia I. Gullatt; maternal grandparents, Leroy Mackey and Ted Huguley; uncle, Joel David Webster, Jr. and cousin, Johnny Webster.
Survivors include his daughter, Madison Allport, his parents, Victor Mark Webster and Misty Mackey; his maternal grandmother, Donnie Huguley; three siblings, Crystal (Dan) Mackie, Austin Peeler, and Victoria Webster; four uncles, Charlie, Stan, Scott and Stuart; three nieces, many cousins, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to a savings account for his daughter, Madison Allport. Your donations will help support her college endeavors at College of Coastal Georgia. Please email [email protected] for further instructions on how to give.
