Mark William Welty

Mark William Welty, 59, of Kearneysville, WV passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 at home.

Born August 10, 1966 in Annapolis, MD, he was the son of Diana Eldridge Welty and the late Richard Michael Welty.

Mark was a man of all trades and was always there for everyone. He was an auto technician, who loved his job. He always lent a listening ear and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mark’s absence will be felt by many.

In addition to his mother, Diana, he is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Victoria, at home, one son, Sterling Welty and wife, Kristen of Middleway, six grandchildren, Destiny, Dustin, Teagan, Wyatt, Aurora and Kayden, one brother, Michael and wife, Laurel, nephew, Matthew Welty, mother-in-law, father-in-law, Jackie and Charles Farris and numerous cousins and extended family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael C. Welty and one brother, Matthew A. Welty.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
