Mark Wallace Wilkey

Mark Wallace Wilkey, age 58, of Temple passed peacefully on Friday, March 24th, 2023, at his home. He was born on the 17th day of September 1964 in Odessa, TX, to parents Wallace Wiley and Peggy Laverna (Stone) Wilkey.
Mark grew up in the Dallas area and attended Richardson High School there. He has been a resident of the Temple area since 2010. In February of 2008, Mark married the love of his life, Darlys Joann Sager. He worked for security at Allied Universal for 13 years. Mark attended the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and volunteered for Feed My Sheep and the V.A. for many years. He loved to serve others and the Lord. Mark worked a lot, he enjoyed talking to others, and he knew a lot of people. He enjoyed running karaoke with his friends and fishing in his spare time. Mark will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory his spouse of 15 years D.J. Wilkey of Temple, sister Tracy Adkins of Wylie, four nephews: Chaz, Cody, Mitchell, and Conner Lester, and many dear friends.
Memorial service will be held at Life With Christ Church on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at 2 p.m. Following the service will be a pot luck.
