Mark Anthony Wilson, age 42, of Hardy, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, at his residence. He was born on November 3, 1982, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Mark Gregory Wilson and Robin Talbert.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his great aunt, Lillian Davis (Lil), and great uncle, Robert Davis (Bob).
Mark attended William Fleming High School. Dollar Tree employed him in Vinton, Virginia, where his coworkers and the customers adored him. He loved fishing and playing basketball, but gardening was his favorite pastime. He truly had a green thumb, and anything he touched would grow. He was also an avid music fan who enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. Mark was a loving and kindhearted soul who cherished his family, friends, and fur babies. Spending time with his family gave him so much joy. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Audra L. Wilson (Audie); his daughters, who he loved and cherished, Aviana Lexy Wilson and Kenzie Jade Wilson; his sister, Bethany Wilson; his brother, Ronnie Talbert; his niece, Shayla Wigfall; his mother and father in law, Sherry Simmons and Richard Simmons; and fur babies, Abby (his girl), Kolby and several cats.
A memorial service will be held on July 18, 2025, from 6 pm to 7 pm, at Valley Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Vernon Delong, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
