Zimmerman, Mark C. “Zim” of Quincy, died March 26, 2025.
Cherished son of Marilyn Zimmerman of Quincy and the late Ernest Zimmerman. Loving husband of Kara Zimmerman for 17 years of Quincy. Loving brother of Brian Zimmerman of Randolph and Eric Zimmerman and his wife Maura of Abington and brother in law of Gregory Barry and Scott Barry of Quincy. Also survived by his nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mark loved hockey and watching the Bruins. In his younger years, he played and also enjoyed fixing cars and weight lifting. He worked for the Teamsters Local 25 for 28 years as a CDL driver and was in the Army Reserves from 1991 to 1995. He loved his family and always looked out for others. Mark was a great person who was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4/7/2025 from 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mark may be made to the Quincy Animal Shelter, 440R E. Squantum St. Quincy, MA 02171.
