MarKayla Brinson Obituary
Gainesville - Ms. MarKayla Maria Brinson, 23 of Gainesville, FL accepted the masters call on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, and entered her heavenly rest. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00am from First Missionary Baptist Church, 1515 SE 15th Street Gainesville, FL Pastor Tyrone Blue eulogist. Earthy bed of rest will follow at Damascus Cemetery. Public visitation will be held FRIDAY at Phillip & Wiley Mortuary, 310 State Road 26 Melrose, FL from 12:00 - 7:00pm. Special memories will continue to live within her loving parents; Catina Hudson and Marcus Brinson; bonus mom Debra Certain; Maternal grandparents Shirley Hudson and Charles Elliott. Paternal grandmother Beverly Moore and bonus grandfather Ernest Certain; siblings Tamika Muhammad, Telean, Lyndon Jr, Lyndon III, Camron, Jakhi and Christopher Boykins, Marquis Brinson, Kaylan Ruiz, Destiny and Davontae Hudson and a host of other sorrowing family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 2216 NW 19th Lane Gainesville, FL at 9:00am to form the cortège .

Beautiful special young lady. Loved our conversations. She adopted Antoine Ford, my grandson as her cousin. They lookeked out for each other. Deepest condolences to the Family. I met MarKayka a few years ago at our Church, First Missionary Baptist. She was a very nice, and sweet person. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. Kayla will truly be missed.
