Markice Hill Obituary

On September 24, 2025, we said goodbye to our beloved Markice Jeron Hill at the tender age of 44. He was born on May 17, 1981, in Eastville, Virginia, to Julius Hill and the late Valeria Hill. Markice lived with a big heart, a love for music, and an energy that touched everyone around him.

He was a hard worker, building his career as a seafood salesman, but it was his passions outside of work that really defined him. Markice loved rapping, listening to music, and sharing his voice on social media. He had a way of making people laugh, sparking conversations, and bringing joy just by being himself.

Family meant everything to him. He carried the love of his parents and grandparents, and he poured that same love into the lives of those around him. Markice had a gift for making every moment feel special, and he leaves behind memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles.

Markice was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Valeria Hill, who surely greeted him with open arms in Heaven, as well as his loving grandparents, Betty Jean Bailey, Theodore Bailey, Lucrisha Tatum, and William Tatum.

He is survived by his father, Julius (LaTanya) Hill, and his brother, Antwaun Tatum. He also leaves behind three nieces, one nephew, and one great-niece, along with a large and loving circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Though his time here was far too short, Markice's spirit will live on through the love he gave, the music he shared, and the laughter he left behind.
