Marlene Marie Albert, age 74, of Elizabeth City, NC, died at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center on Monday, August 18, 2025. She was born in Butler, PA, on November 6, 1950, to the late Michael Rudolph, Sr. and Emma Ruth Carothers. She was the widow of Jonathan Richard Albert, Sr.

She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Crescini (James); two sons, Jonathan R. Albert, Jr. (Cindy) and Christopher D. Albert, Sr. (Meghan); a sister, Kathy Snyder; two brothers, Mark Rudolph (Terri) and Michael "Sonny" Rudolph; six grandchildren, Domonique, Christopher, Jr., Alicia, Brianna, Kepa, and Kawena; and six great-grandchildren, Braelynn, Avelina, Arya, Atticus, Kiele, and Kaikea. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Richard Rudolph.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Twiford Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909, with Chaplain Kevin Reiver officiating. The family will greet friends at a visitation held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., at Twiford Memorial Chapel.
