She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack in 2010.
Marlene was a member of Faith Christian Reformed Church and retired from Donnelly Corporation as an executive secretary. She loved to spend her summers at Tri-Ponds Campground and was an active member of Evergreen Commons.
She is survived by her children, Kim and Dale Monje, Sue and Jim Higgins, Tom and Linda Bos, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; in-laws, Alyce Huizenga, Delores Bos, George Talsma; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at Faith Christian Reformed Church, 85 W. 26th St. Holland with Rev. Jen Rozema officiating. Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Memorial contributions may be given to Holland Christian Schools Tuition Grant Fund.
