Marlene Fetcho (Marty), age 72, of Naugatuck, CT passed away peacefully on February 06, 2026 after a brief illness. Marlene was born in Bridgeport, CT to parents Barbara (Williams) and Donald Minton. She cherished spending time with her granddaughter, Cadence Fetcho and going on lunch dates with her friends. She was an avid UConn Girls basketball fan, never missing a game and enjoyed bird watching and gardening.
Marlene attended Roger Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, CT and Mount Ida College in Newton, Ma and was a parishioner of Grace Lutheran Church in Naugatuck, CT.
Marlene is survived by her granddaughter Cadence Fetcho, Daughter-in-Law Shannon Fetcho (Late Henry Fetcho), her sister Beth Letsch (late Bruce Letsch), her niece Amy Tobey (Chris), nephew Kevin Letsch (Jennifer), her great nieces Ryann Tobey, Jillian Tobey, and Olivia Letsch and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Allen Fetcho (2005) and her son Henry Fetcho(2022), as well as her parents Barbara and Donald.
Arrangements for Marlene are held in the care of Spear-Miller Funeral Home. Services will be private. There will be no calling hours.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Waterbury Hospital for providing Marlene with great care and compassion.
