Marlene A Foisy

Monson-Marlene A. Foisy, 70, born on October 15, 1954, in Springfield, MA, to the late Arthur F. and Pearl M. (Mayhew) Chartier, passed away on June 19, 2025. She was a dedicated machine operator at Polymer Corporation in Palmer, MA, where she worked for many years.

Marlene was a graduate of Tech High in Springfield. Throughout her life, she found joy in various activities, including traveling the Maine coastline and visiting lighthouses. She had a special fondness for Halloween and enjoyed listening to symphonies and orchestra music. Marlene was also a member of the Springfield Sportsman Club, where she practiced archery—a hobby she cherished. She took great delight in feeding and watching birds around her bird feeders and loved watching the TV series Gunsmoke.

Marlene is survived by her beloved son, George P. Foisy; her sisters, Peggy Ackerman and her husband Robert, and Annette Long; her brother, Arthur Chartier Jr and his wife Janet Tozzi; as well as her treasured grandchildren, Kaylee Skye Foisy and Ella Rose Foisy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth P. Foisy, and her daughter, Jennifer S. Foisy.

Marlene's kind spirit and love for her family will always be remembered.
