Lana Marlene Klumb, Marlene, was born in Stockton, California on July 20, 1948 to Everett and LouVee Wright. Marlene was the 2nd of 2 children.
Marlene attended high school in Spencer, Oklahoma where she met the love of her life, David Klumb. Before marrying, Marlene moved to New York City where she was a flight attendant for TWA. While traveling she and David were reacquainted and were engaged soon after and returned to Oklahoma where they were married August 31, 1968. Upon moving home to Oklahoma, they proceeded to have two children, Lee Ann and Katie. Marlene was a stay-at-home mom and then went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. For the next ten years Marlene taught third and fourth grade in Little Axe public schools. After retiring from teaching you could always find Marlene tending to her garden, playing tennis, or spending time with her grandchildren.
