Marlene T. Milner

Marlene Theresa Milner (née Ikels), age 90, of Medford, MA (formerly of Cambridge, MA), passed away on December 17, 2025, in Cambridge, MA, surrounded by her loved ones.

Marlene was born on April 10, 1935, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Richard Ikels Sr. and Margaret (Roy) Ikels. Her greatest accomplishments in life was being a grandmother and great-grandmother and watching her sons succeed. She loved everything from the sea, especially clams, and her happiest place was at the beach watching the waves crash along the sand.

Marlene is survived by her three sons; William Milner, Jr. and his wife, Shelli Dunayer of Florida, David Milner and his wife, Maryellen of Medford, MA and Glenn Milner and his wife Kristine of New Hampshire. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Cotter, of New Hampshire, and Dorothy Ikels, of Florida. Marlene was a devoted grandmother to her nine grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren-Jacqueline Milner and her two children, Erik and Isabella, William Milner and his wife Grace and their three children, Olivia, Eva, and Jacob, Dustin Milner, David Milner Jr., Julie (Milner) Tran and her husband David Tran and their three children, Lilliana, Rayna, and Damien, Bobby Milner, Parker Milner, Aislynn Milner, and Ava Milner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, her sister, Margaret (Conomacos) Hazeldine, and her brother, Richard Ikels Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her, but she is now at peace.
