Obituary of Marlene Mildred Morris Haddad
After a faith-filled life of prayer and devotion, Marlene Mildred Haddad, of Bluffton, South Carolina passed into Eternal Life on the Solemnity of Mary, Most Holy Mother of God, January 1, 2022. She was 81.
Marlene was born August 6, 1940 in Paterson, New Jersey, the daughter of John Morris and Rose Paulter. She was the proud mother of four children, Mark Haddad, Doretta Shelley, Sharlene Eldredge, and Wayne Haddad. She also had seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sisters Catherine Vogel and Loretta Dibsie and survived by her younger brother Dennis Morris and his wife Gloria.
Marlene lived her life with an extraordinary love of Christ and His Holy Catholic Church. Devoted to the Most Holy Eucharist and the beloved lives of the Saints, Marlene celebrated her faith with everyone she met. Her life exemplified the words of the Apostle Paul who recalled "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, what things God has prepared for those that love him. (1 Cor 2:9).
The Funeral Mass will be held at her beloved parish of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church on January 8, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
