Marlene Nagy (Kampen), 82, Lohman, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at her home on April 26, 2025. She was born on August 6, 1942 in St. Louis, MO., the daughter of Bernard M. Kampen and (Goldie) Irene Francis.

Marlene's creative spirit thrived through painting and crafting. She loved nature, animals, and watching birds. She loved flowers as well and loved to see them grow and bloom each year. Marlene was loving and thoughtful, and enjoyed life's simplicities. Her home was the heart of countless family gatherings, where holidays, birthdays and milestones were celebrated with joy and laughter.

Her wisdom, creativity and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered by all who knew her.

Marlene's Legacy lives on through her family; survived by children: Theresa Bruning of Troy, MO, Anne Merkle (Jeff) of Cadet, MO, J.D. Nagy (Ginny) of Lohman, MO., Jenny Elston (Mike) of Kinmundy, IL.; grandchildren: Jason, Shane, Erica, Heather, Ashley, Samantha, Angel, Anna, and Lucy, as well as nineteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy D. Nagy, and her granddaughter, Misty R. Crase.

A Celebration of her Life will be privately held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements for Ms. Nagy are under the direction of TYLER M. WOODS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, 611 E. Capitol Ave. Jefferson City, Missouri 65101. (573) 636-2424.
