Marlene Pellino Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home Inc - West Nyack on Dec. 14, 2025.
Marlene Pellino November 20, 1937 – December 13, 2025
Marlene Pellino, 88 of Orangeburg, NY entered into rest on December 13, 2025. The daughter of the late Philip & Rose (Ferraro) Ranno. She was born in the Bronx, New York. Marlene was married to her loving late husband Louis Pellino, whom she married on April 8, 1961. Louis predeceased her in 2018. Philip Ranno her brother predeceased her in 2022.
Marlene was a graduate of Pelham Memorial High School in Westchester County; she attended Vermont College but did not finish. She went on to attend Katherine Gibbs where she learned the skills she used during her working career. She worked in the East Ramapo School District, St. Regis Paper Company, Champion International Paper, and International Paper as an Administrative Assistant. She also was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Nanuet, NY.
Our mother was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Though very strict and set in her ways and beliefs she taught us how to be productive hardworking individuals. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren. Though her passing is sad, she is now reunited with the love of her life and is no longer suffering. May God Bless her and watch over her for eternity.
Survivors include her children Valerie Kiernan (James) and William Pellino (Gina); her grandchildren Jimmy, Tommy & Brittany Kiernan; grandchildren Dominic & Danielle Pellino and their mother Karen Pellino; step-grandchildren Ryan and Alexa Crudele; sister-in-law Jean Ranno; brothers-in-law Robert Pellino (Barbara) and Joseph Pellino (Dianne); sisters-in-law Patricia Strieber (Ronald) and Marguerite Carlucci (James); as well as many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.
