Edward Hennessy Obituary
Edward was born in Jersey City to Rosemary and Edward Hennessy. He was a devoted husband to Diane (Gregory) Hennessy- a loving brother to his sister Theresa "Terry" and (Nick) Berardo, and his two brothers Michael (Sharon) and Paul Kevin (Laurie) Hennessy.
He will be greatly missed by his in-laws, Dad and Mom, Dr. Robert and Lucille Gregory, brother in laws Dr. Robert, Dr. Richard (Diane), Dr. James (Jen) and sister in laws, Dr. Marie Cantu and Joan O'Sullivan (Bill).
He was a natural story teller of his past, especially of track and his wedding band.
He earned his doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic and his masters in nutrition. Ed loved learning and shared his knowledge teaching at Dominican College in Blauvelt NY.
He loved travel and music, wine country and dancing. Known as U.E and Uncle Woody, he will be missed by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Ed (Woody) will be remembered for his sense of humor, athleticism, infectious smile and his kindness to others.
Wake service will be held at Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack on Thursday 3-7pm.
Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Shrine Church in Nanuet NY Friday at 11:30am.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ed's passing. It was truly an honor to care for him. I will always remember his kindness and strength.
