Marlene Mary Pohlmann, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on February 7, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she spent her early years in a place where she cultivated lasting relationships and her deep love for family and friends.
Marlene was a devoted mother to her three children, Joseph J. Pohlmann, Steven R. Pohlmann, and Linda J. Best. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Olivia, Tyler, Emma, Daniel, Christopher, Sarah, and Samuel, who all hold dear the countless memories created with their grandmother. Marlene also embraced the joy of great-grandparenthood with the arrival of Everly Rose, Jaxon, and Colten, who brought immense joy to her later years.
Her family remembers her not only for her nurturing spirit but also for her kindness and warmth as a loving aunt and friend to many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Marlene's connections with her family were enriched through her relationships with her brother, Jack Faecher, and his wife, Esther Faecher, alongside her sister-in-law, Barbara Faecher.
Marlene was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Ernst Pohlmann, her brother Robert Faecher, and her grandson, Mark Pohlmann. Their memories remain an integral part of her family tapestry, as they fondly recall her strength and enduring love.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Marlene's life during the visitation on March 15, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Radel Funeral Home located at 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, OH 45233.
