Marlene Sethney, 86, passed away March 15, 2025, in Sweetwater, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife to her husband and was loved and treasured by all those who knew her. She dedicated herself to caring for others, both in her career as a nurse and in her personal life. Her capacity for love and compassion was unmatched and will be dearly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Marlene loved the outdoors, traveling, animals of all kinds, and shared her husband’s passion for aviation. She was an active member of her church and found enduring strength and solace in her faith.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her mother Clara, and her father Melvin. She was joined in death by her niece Angela and her beloved dogs Frosty and Sugar. She is survived by her sisters Bernadene and Pearl.
