David Smith Obituary
David Larry Smith, age 76, of Loudon, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was a veteran of the United States Army. David loved fishing and classic cars and was a talented woodworker and skilled get-it-done fabricator who could fix or build just about anything. He worked at Maremont for over 36 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Margie (Watts) Smith; daughter, Melissa; and siblings, Polly Johnson, Danny Ray Smith, Kyle Smith, Tony Smith, and Ed Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Smith; son, Matt Smith and wife Rhonda; granddaughter Selena and husband Colby Arney; bonus grandchildren, Gage Lefler, Candace Vann and husband Allen, Deana Luckett, and Matthew Hillsberry; great-grandchildren, Maddie, Jax, Emerson, Avonlea, and Adalynn; brother, Glen Smith and wife Penny; and sister, Linda Trollinger; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 5:00-6:00PM at Loudon Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6:00PM.
