Mrs. Marlene Kaliebe Weaver, 91, recently of Lewisville, North Carolina, formerly of Asheville, NC, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 20, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on March 3, 1934, in Cook County, Illinois, to the late Theodore Kaliebe and Edith Wegman Kaliebe.
Marlene found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cooking for those she cared about, gardening, and crafting. Above all, she cherished her family and shared a devoted love with her late husband, Robert Norman Weaver.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Kristovich, a brother, Ted Kaliebe, and an infant sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bob Weaver (Nancy Tucker), Scott Weaver (Dori), and Jennifer Kissinger; her six beloved grandchildren, Zach, Katie, Emily, Tyler, Ryan, and Kyle; and her brother, Bob Kaliebe.
No formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
