Marlys Marie Ulsaker

Marlys Ulsaker, age 84 of Cottage Grove, MN peacefully passed away on September 20, 2025.

Memorial Service will be at 5 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 with a visitation from 2-5 PM at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 - 80th Street S., Cottage Grove, MN. Interment will be at 11:30 am on Monday, October 13th at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave. S.; Minneapolis, MN - Assembly Area 4 (ARRIVE BY 11:15 AM).

Marlys enjoyed many things through the years including vacationing, fishing, shopping, sports especially the Twins and as she called them - "The Wilds" and a night out of chicken wings and a good margarita. The heart of her life revolved around her family especially time with her grandchildren spoiling them any chance she had. Marlys will be missed for her spunky spirit that wasn't afraid to speak her mind, the love she shared in so many ways and the joy she brought to all those who knew her.

Marlys is survived by son Mark (Missy); three grandchildren Danielle (Deanna), Mikayla and Evan; one great grand baby on the way; sisters Susan, Linda and Marie as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Nels "Tony"; parents Henry and Catherine Geisen and siblings Judy, Patty, Billy, Marty and Debbie.
