With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Marolyn George, a devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother. She was a beacon of joy and passion. She was known for her warm, contagious spirit and her deep love for cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Marolyn Kenney George, 75 of Greenville, MS peacefullypassed away on September 5, 2025. She was born on October 11, 1949 in Brookhaven, MS to Robert Kenney Jr. and Claudia Noble Kenney.
She is survived by her husband, Mike George; two children, Michael George (Veronica) and Melissa Mangrum (Carl); her three grandchildren, Mason George, Meri Madison George and Chloe Mangrum. She is also survived by a sister, Carolyn Brumfield (Jim). Her family was the center of her universe and her love for them knew no bounds. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate their achievements and milestones.
Marolyn's memory will be cherished by all who were blessed to know and love her. May she rest in peace, forever cheering on her Bulldogs from the ultimate stadium above.
A special celebration of her life will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mangrum on Tuesday 9/9/25 at 2:00 p.m.followed by Marolyn's Last Tailgate from 3:00 - 5:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation in Marolyn's honor.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Delta Regional Home Health and Hospice.
