Marsha Beach Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Jan. 2, 2026.
Marsha Annette Johnson Beach, 71, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband and children in Milton, Florida, on December 30, 2025. She was born on June 29, 1954, in Pensacola, Florida.

Marsha was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Broxson Pait; her father, O'Neal Johnson; her son, Brandon Brown; and her brother, Randy Johnson.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Beach; her daughter, Misti McGowan (Justin); her sons, David Beach, Jr. (Jodie), Brandon Beach (Jennifer), and Michael Newsom; her grandchildren, Justin "Justy", Taylor, Landon, Finn, Jaydon, Miles, Lily, Olivia, Georgia, and Jon David; her great-granddaughter, Penelope; and her sisters, Tina Bailey, and Tiffany Moran.

Marsha was the proud owner of The Prissy Peacock, a place that reflected her creativity, warmth, and eye for beauty. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She especially loved her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She enjoyed restoring old furniture and turning something worn into something beautiful again-much like the she lived her life. She enjoyed cooking her Granny Josephine's recipes. Marsha was unapologetically herself: honest, caring, giving, strong, and kind. She fought hard through life's challenges and did so with grace.

She will be remembered for her beautiful face her generous heart, and for being a true "jewel" to all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.

When Marie and I were planning a move to Milton more than 21 years ago, Marsha was one of the very first people we spoke with... and we became neighbors across the fairway. We extend our condolences to her family and know that she´ll be dearly missed.
