Marsha McCracken Boren, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away on December 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and the animals she cherished.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Rayford Eugene McCracken and Mable Marie Sharpe McCracken, Marsha learned strength and compassion through the experiences and relationships that shaped her life. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Eugene McCracken, and her step-brother, Johnny Counce.
Marsha is survived by her daughter, Christi Huffman (Matt), and her son, Steve Nave (Leah)-the greatest joys of her life. She also leaves behind her beloved grandson, Austin Nave (Rosie), who brought her immeasurable pride and happiness.
She is also survived by her sister, Terri Colburn (Tom); her niece, Melinda Colburn, and Melinda's children; her step-brothers, Hank Counce (Lynn) and Hal Counce (Deanne); and her step-sister, Lori Counce.
Marsha leaves behind her best friend, Chris Clanton, whose steadfast friendship and love were constants throughout her life. Chris's family embraced Marsha as their own and loved her deeply.
A true animal lover, Marsha had a gentle, nurturing spirit that extended to every creature she met. Her compassionate heart and soft spot for animals were among the qualities that made her so special.
Known for her kindness, quiet strength, and the way she made people feel safe and cared for, Marsha touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her love was steady, her presence comforting, and her memory will be forever cherished.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Olmstead Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Interment will follow in Cleburne COunty Memorial Gardens.
