Dwight Edward Keeling (1953 to 2025)
Dwight was born July 28, 1953, in Chicago, Il and passed away peacefully in his home in Blytheville, AR surrounded by his wife and two daughters on November 12, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lincoln and Velma Keeling along with 4 precious angel great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Lovetta Keeling of 52 years. Two daughters, Lee (Jon) McKinney of Blytheville, AR and Kim (Scott) Huett of Cleveland, AR. Four grandsons Michael (Shyanne) Huett, Scott McKinney, Tyler Huett, Jackson McKinney and fifteenth precious great grandkids. Three sisters Phyllis Dunavin, Brenda (Andy) Robertson and Nola Goodwin. He also has two grand furbabies, Monte and Mozz, that he loved and spoiled rotten.
Dwight was a devoted husband to Lovetta and a loving father to Lee and Kim along with an excellent Papaw to his grandsons and great grandkids and treasured his two son-n-laws Scott Huett and Jon McKinney. He taught his family the importance of hard work and his kindness, generosity and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.
From the pump jack rides when his girls were little, to the rooftops of his own Keeling Roofing business, to the farm life of picking cotton, to just being a big teddy bear full of love to his grandsons and great grandkids. He also had a "loving" stubbornness like you've never seen. He could roll his eyes with the best of them, give faces like no one else could and throw that hand up at you and point that finger to just looking at you and saying "Nah" or "Ugh" and then smile. Never met anyone he wouldn't aggravate. None of this compares though to the love he provided for his wife Lovetta. Dwight and Lovetta
were the epiphany of true best friends and soul mates. Never being apart from each other for years. The love he gave his wife will always be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
Dwight will always be missed and loved. His legacy will live on within his family until they meet in heaven. We love you forever. "P.S. Daddy. pull my finger!! Daddy here is your change!!"
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Ar. The family will then immediately go to the burial site at South Cross Roads Cemetery in Hopewell, AR.
Pallbearers will be Scott Huett, Michael Huett, Tyler Huett, Scott McKinney, Jackson McKinney and Andy Robertson.
