Mrs. Marsha S. Lanford

Marsha S. Lanford, 73, wife of the late Randall Lanford, of Seneca, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at her home. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Lanford was the daughter of the late Furman and Helen Jennings Simpson. She was a loving, caring homemaker with a sense of humor and an avid reader. Mrs. Lanford is survived by her son: Will Lanford (Michelle); brother: Wayne Simpson (Tina); grandson: Easton Lanford; niece: Tosha Simpson; nephew: Furman Simpson; and sisters-in-law: Kelly Marble and Nancy Garijo. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at their respective homes.
