A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 4, 2023 at New Beginnings Church, 1007 S. Willow Street, Effingham, IL, with lunch immediately following the service. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family.
Marsha was born on April 9, 1959, in Taunton, MA, the daughter of Francis Pacheco and Dorthy June Schneider. Marsha was a homemaker and family was very important to her. She enjoyed writing poetry and shopping.
Marsha is survived by her husband, Ricky Melton; children, Jessica Boutilier, Ramona Evans, Tina Evans, Amber Evans, and Chandra Melton; grandchildren, Tre Stokes, Kaytee Evans, Jaydin Daugherty, Jonathan Melton, Kiley Tamburro, Deziree Wilson, Austin Smothers, and Evelyn Bourff; great-granddaughter, Winsleigh Evans; siblings, Donna Belanger, Janet Yodsnukis, Robert Pacheco, and Francis Pacheco; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
