Marsha Browder Stokes, affectionately known as Shasha by family and close friends, passed away at the age of 73 on June 19, 2024, in Orlando, Florida.

Marsha was born in Windsor, North Carolina on October 30, 1950. She was married to Mark Stokes on July 29, 1972. Marsha worked as an engineer at Florida Power for many years. When she retired, she was drawn to her true passion of antiques, and opened her own antique shop called French Nest. She had a passion for hunting for the perfect items to make her shop one of a kind and beautiful. Marsha also loved animals, especially her own dogs and cats (Will, Grace, Arthur, Kitty, and Charlie), vacationing in Bryson City, North Carolina, and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren with whom she had an inseparable bond.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Mark, her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Ferguson and Brian Ferguson, her grandchildren, Liam and Olivia, and her siblings, John Mark Browder, William Christopher Browder, and Suzanne Pugh.

A memorial service to honor Marsha will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home in July.
