Marsha Taylor Wheeldon Pritzel
June 7, 1947 – June 30, 2023
God needed someone to write letters and chose Marsha Pritzel to join him in heaven on June 30, 2023. In the last thirty years of her life Marsha averaged writing 25 letters a week on note cards she had made.
Her parents, Richard and Echo Nelson Taylor, welcomed her into their lives on June 7, 1947 in St. John's Hospital in Jackson, Wyoming. The first winter of her life was spent in the Taylor homestead up the Grovont. At the age of five, Marsha left Jackson with her Mom, Dad and two younger sisters for Mullison Park, Wyoming. To begin first grade they moved to Ryan Park. Then Encampment until when in the fourth grade, her Dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and forced to give up working in the woods. They settled in Cheyenne and Marsha graduated from high school in 1965.
She attended the University of Wyoming for one year before marrying Chet Wheeldon in Jackson. The union lasted five years and she transferred with Job Service back to Cheyenne. Her career ended in 1975 when she married Loren Pritzel and they moved to Utah. After two years Loren was transferred back to Cheyenne where they lived until 1990.
Their only child, Lars, was a joyous addition to their family in 1983. He moved with them to Casa Grande, Arizona, California, Utah, and New Mexico. When Loren retired from full-time employment they moved to Cottonwood, Arizona.
Consulting work for Loren brought many opportunities for Marsha and Lars to travel world wide for four years. Then Marsha was content to be in her motor home back in New Mexico and Wyoming while Loren continued to work part-time.
Marsha was preceded in death by her youngest sister, Rhonda Taylor, and her parents. She is survived by her husband, son, sister Sandee and three nieces, four nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Her ashes will be interred in the Jackson Aspen Hill Cemetery in the lots with her maternal grandparents and mother.

Marsha wrote me weekly letters and little gifts for over 7 years. She wanted to make sure I had "fun" mail to open when I was diagnosed w breast cancer. And she kept it up.... A great testament to her friendship with my mom. She was a wonderful lady.... I´ll miss my fun mail.
