Marsha L. Urban, 71 of Connersville passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. She was born on February 19, 1954 in Connersville to Robert Osborn Jr. and Louise Hilbert Osborn.
Marsha was a 1972 graduate of Connersville High School. After high school she married Robert Urban in Connersville on July 14, 1973.
Marsha was a member of the Auxiliary Unit 1, Andersonville Eastern Star and was the Financial Secretary for UAW 1904 for 20 years.
After 40 years of employment, she retired from Stant Inc where she was a fork lift driver. She also was a dispatcher for the Everton Fire Department and was an EMT for the funeral home.
Marsha found peace and joy while she was at the Cottage in Michigan with her husband, where she spent countless hours casting a line into the water and soaking up the quiet beauty of nature. She was known for her boundless love and devotion to her family. She was proud to be an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her nieces and nephews knew they could always count on Aunt Marsha to be there for them with an open door. Marsha loved taking care of flowers and taking photographs. In her younger years she spent plenty of time farming with her dad. Marsha's presence was a gift, she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and selfless devotion.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bob; her sisters, Donna Bever and Melissa "Missy" (Kellis) Allen; her nieces and nephews, Billie (Rick) Kester, Jordan (Laura) Lakes, Tisha Jarboe, Jake (Heather) Bailey, Jessica Bailey, Justin (Sunny) Bailey, Charles Bailey III, Shanta Bowman, Kellis Allen Jr., Brandon (Morgan) Allen, Kasey Allen, Zachary Allen, Chris (Cheyenne) Urban, Scott (Casey) Urban, Bobby (Kaelee) Urban, Heidi (JD) Roberts, Jimmy (Gloria) Urban, Michael Urban, Lori (Scott) Abata, Mardy Urban, Lora Urban and Lisa Urban; her great nieces and nephews, Brennan (Erica) Joy, Rylie (Matthew) Watkins, Stella Kester, Ava Kester, Taylor Jarboe, Natalya Bailey, Noah Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Mason Bailey; brother in law, Mardy Urban; sister in laws, Bonnie Urban and Pearlie Urban; special friends, Angia Gay, Patty Clark, Ann Nolan, Glenda Tuttle and Judy Getz; and many other great nieces and nephews.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; brother in laws, Randy Urban, Leonard Urban and Jim Urban; sister in law, Sharon Kline; a niece, Tracey Urban; and her best pal, Skully.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St., Connersville. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
