Marsha Roberts Vaughn Obituary
Mrs. Marsha Roberts Vaughn, 67, of Jackson, Tennessee formerly of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday December 24, 2023 at Charter Assisted Living.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Thursday December 28, 2023 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in McAuley Cemetery. Dr. Tim Atkins officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and Thursday from 10:00AM until time of service at 11:00AM.
Mrs. Vaughn was born June 8, 1956 to the late LD Roberts and Sara Gossett Roberts as the youngest of six children. She graduated from Hollow Rock – Bruceton Central High School in 1974 and graduated from the University of Tennessee-Martin in 1978. She taught fifth grade and kindergarten at Hollow Rock – Bruceton Central. She ended her career as a Daycare Assessor for the State of Tennessee. She was a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. During her career, she was active in local, state and national politics. Preceded in death by her husband Johnny Vaughn; her brothers Billy Roberts, Jimmy Roberts, Carl Roberts and Danny Roberts; sister Martha Noles and nephew Randall Roberts.
She is survived by two sons Britt (Karina) Pickett of Memphis, Tennessee and Bart Pickett of Nashville, Tennessee; nieces and nephews Todd Lowe, David Lowe, Jeff Roberts, Marty Roberts, Michael Roberts, Vanessa Roberts, Stacey Smothers and Mindie Santiago; several great nieces and nephews.
