Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home, 26 Brentwood Place, Forsyth, GA. Burial in Monroe Hill Memorial Gardens, 1010 W. Main Street, Forsyth, GA.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, December 17th from 2-6 PM. Keep the family in prayer.

Marshall Blalock Jr. was born April 29, 1937 in Jones County to the late Marshall Blalock Sr. and Eula Mae Smith Blalock. Marshall Blalock Jr. was the last of 11 siblings. He is preceded in death by his siblings: David Blalock Sr., Roy Roger Blalock, Murray Blalock, Walter James Blalock, Otis Blalock, Fred Blalock, Glynn Blalock, Evelean Jarrell, Shirley McBroom, and Equillare Smith.

At an early age, Marshall quit school in order to help support his siblings. Later in life he became a self-employed logger. He also worked for the Academy of the blind and he retired from J.D. Logging Company.

He was joined in holy matrimony to Coleman Lee (Flowers) Blalock. To this union 4 children were born.

He leaves to cherish his memories children; Sowander (Willie) Blalock Shannon, Rena Blalock Evans, Earl Marshall (Casandra) Blalock, Audrey (Kelvin) Blalock; A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and close family and friends Sabrina (David) Womack.
