Marshall Neill Bradley went to his eternal home on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Born on February 24, 1935, he was the youngest son of Carey and Lynda Byrd Bradley. He attended Broadway School, where he met the love of his life, Hazel Whitfield. He served in the United States Army but spent most of his adult career as a long-distance truck driver, known as "the singing cowboy". He also served on the Cape Fear Volunteer Fire Department for over twenty years.
Marshall loved serving the Lord. He did so for many years at Juniper Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and deacon chair, congregational song leader, sound system technician, and Sunday School superintendent. At the time of his death, he was the oldest living member of JSBC.
His love of praising the Lord led him to establish the gospel group The Gloryland Singers. This group traveled together for over ten years to multiple states sharing the gospel of Jesus through music.
Marshall was well known for his love of Reese's Cups, thus earning him the name "Papa Reese Cup."
Marshall was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Hazel; his sister, Eugenia Thompson (Zach); and his brother, Everette Bradley (Fran).
He is survived by his son, Jerry Bradley, and wife, Debbie; granddaughters, Mindy Isenhour and Katie Machon (Daniel); great-grandson, Cason Isenhour; granddogs, Axel and Sally; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service at Juniper Springs Baptist Church on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM with Rev. Eddie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
