I have known Marshall and his lovely wife Jennifer since 1976. Marshall and I worked together to obtain a large grant from the American Bar Association to sponsor and organize the nation´s first public interest law conference in the fall of 1978 at the UB Law School in Buffalo. Marshall was one of the few nation´s law professors who actively served his government and was heavily involved in key public service issues. He was a prolific and brilliant scholar, a highly respected teacher and a generous and loyal grown to countless numbers. He will be sorely missed.
