Patricia Breger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc - Milesburg (formerly Wetzler) on Jul. 8, 2025.
Patricia A. Breger, 79, of Bellefonte, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Geisinger–Lewistown Hospital. Born on January 6, 1946, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Calvin E. and Beulah (Zigler) McCloskey, Sr.

Patricia was a 1964 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and went on to earn her RN degree from Williamsport Penn Tech. She worked as a registered nurse at Williamsport Hospital until her retirement.

She was of the Christian faith and had a deep love for nature. Patricia especially enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and doing yard work-anything that allowed her to be outdoors. On rainy days, she could often be found sitting on her porch, watching the animals visit her yard. She also loved dancing, traveling (especially trips to the zoo), solving Sudoku puzzles, and caring for her beloved four-legged companion, Sugar.

Patricia is survived by her two children, Troy A. Breger of Williamsport and Debra S. Breger and her companion, Ed Baney, of Bellefonte; one brother, Nathan L. McCloskey of Marsh Creek; and one sister, Lillian M. Parker and her husband, Wilbur, of Howard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin E. McCloskey, Jr. and Charles E. McCloskey, Sr.

In keeping with Patricia's wishes, there will be no service.

Arrangements are under the care of Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc., in Milesburg, PA. An online guest book may be signed, and condolences shared at www.daughenbaughfuneralhome.com.
