Marshall Wayne "Butch" Snodgrass, 73, of Nicholasville, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 10th,2025 at his residence. Marshall was born in Crab Orchard, KY on July 9, 1952, a son of the late Elizabeth (Humber) and Robert Lee Snodgrass. He was the widower of Iva Clayborn Snodgrass. Marshall was a sports fanatic, loving baseball, basketball, and football. He was a true blue U.K. Fan and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed going to Keeneland and also enjoyed gardening.

Survivors Include:

Three Sisters

Clara Slaughter

Bessie & Husband, Bradley Helm

Serena & Husband, Wesley Burnside

In addition to his parents Robert and Elizabeth Snodgrass, Marshall was preceded in death by his wife Iva Clayborn Snodgrass, six brothers, Hubert, Claude, Charles Ray, Jim, Morris, and Gill Snodgrass, three sisters, Elizabeth Robinson, Ann Rucker, and Brenda Terrance, three nieces, Charlene Rucker, Regina Arnold, and Melissa Crafton, and two nephews, Hubert Snodgrass Jr. and Antious Slaughter.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Crab Orchard First Baptist Church, 513 Cedar St., Crab Orchard, KY 40419

Rev. Darrell Hayden will officiate.

Burial will be in the Crab Orchard Cemetery.

Public Visitation will start at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Crab Orchard First Baptist Church, 513 Cedar St., Crab Orchard, KY 40419

Pallbearers Include: Tim Snodgrass, Isaac Snodgrass, Simon Norris, Sherman Roberts, Brad Scott, and Eric Snodgrass.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704

Hagerstown, MD 21741.
