Marshall Yeargin

Marshall Yeargin, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, in Greenville, SC, at the age of 70. Born on December 8, 1954, Marshall was a man known for his loving nature, thoughtful gestures, and handy skills that he generously shared with all who knew him.

Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, George O. Yeargin and Lilly B. Yeargin. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Annie Ruth Yeargin, Willie Ruth Yeargin, Sarah Brewster, George O. Yeargin Jr., Steve Ladson, and Robert Lee Downs. His memory will also be treasured by a host of nieces and nephews, who saw in him not just an uncle but a mentor and a friend. 

Throughout his life, Marshall dedicated himself to the craft of brick masonry. His work was not just a job but a testament to his meticulous nature and his ability to create lasting beauty and structure. He took pride in his profession and was respected by his peers for his skill and reliability. Marshall's involvement in various associations within his trade further exemplified his commitment to his craft and his desire to stay connected with his colleagues and the community.
