Martha Carver Bradley, age 77, of Calhoun, passed away Saturday afternoon at her residence.
Martha was born August 1, 1947, in Gordon County, the daughter of the late Harry Carver and Essie Mae Green Carver. She was a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church and a self-employed beautician before her retirement. Martha love people, but her family and her grandkids were her life.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Bradley.
Survivors include her children, Susan Holden, Peggy Luther, Wendell Bradley, David Bradley, and his wife Jackie, and Corey Bradley, and his wife Katie. Two sisters, Janet Carver and Gayle Moore, and her husband Douglas, and Howard Carver and his wife Kathy. Eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 8th at 4 pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Chyanne Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with Christian Holden, Dustin Howard, Zach Bradley, Chase Bradley, Brett Bradley, Trent Walker, and Dayton Luther serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 8th from 2 pm until 4 pm at the funeral home.
